As founder of The Bookkeeping Agency, John C. Freeston, C.F.S.C., draws upon over twenty years of experience in administration and management in the fields of banking and small business.
While serving as vice president for a major Boston bank, he had corporate-wide responsibility for providing investment portfolio record-keeping for more than $14 billion in client assets, and managed a division budget totaling $8 million.
During twelve years with the Bank of New England, he supplied specialized bookkeeping services and account cash management to corporations, non-profit organizations, law firms and private trustees, using automated accounting systems and statistical databases.
Prior to this, he owned and operated his own retail store, building it to among the top 5 per cent within a nationwide chain in the first eighteen months.
His experience, together with today's technology, enables John to serve clients from New Hampshire to California and Florida, from the small business owner to multi-billion dollar banks, and to over 50 major national charitable organizations.
John received his B.A. degree from Colgate University, and his C.F.S.C. designation from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
